ETIQUETTE GUIDELINES


1. Arrive at least ten (10) minutes prior to the 4:30 p.m. rehearsal time. Be warmed up, turned and ready to start the rehearsal promptly at 4:30 p.m. This includes placing the music in rehearsal order.


2. Limit the amount of unnecessary talking between numbers, so as to keep the rehearsal on track.


3. Members should have a pencil on hand at all times to mark their music scores as per the Conductor’s directions. After the concert, please erase all pencil markings from your music scores.


4. Arrive at least twenty (20) minutes prior to the start of a concert (unless otherwise directed by the Concert Manager/Conductor). All members should stand as the Conductor takes the stage for the performance.


5. There should be no talking or distracting movements while seated on the stage in concert formation. Between pieces, members should be attentive and professional, bringing up their instruments when the Conductor steps up to the podium. There should be no instrument cases, bags, or purses on the stage floor.


6. Members should be prepared for all performances and do their very best to comply with the Conductor’s instructions for musicality. Each member should strive to perform the very best they can at all times.


7. For all performances, members should come dressed in concert attire.


8. If you are unable to attend a performance, contact the Conductor and the Concert Manager as for in advance as is possible.
